FIELD ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (outside sales)

The Company

Brandsplat (brandsplat.com) is a growing company that provides customized content for client websites, blogs, and social media. We are, essentially, a ghost writing service for businesses that need a regular stream of content. We work with companies of all sizes and in all industries, both B2B and B2C. We now offer an additional service.


Online Analysis & Management

Brandsplat has a number of clients that have asked us to evaluate and help manage their online marketing. The service saves them time, money, and gets them more clients. Our work is completely objective: other than content, we do not sell or broker any of the products or services we recommend. Clients pay us by the hour, as needed - it's like having an on-call team of Web marketing experts.


The Position

The Field Account Executive is a contracted professional living in the Greater L.A. area, working mostly from home. She or he is a self-motivated talent who can establish a successful sales approach and execute it. This is a tremendous opportunity for an ambitious, organized sales professional.


Responsibilities & Essential Functions

  • Formulation and execution of a clear sales plan for one or more industries
  • Prospecting and identifying new clients
  • Setting up sales calls, meetings, and presentations in pursuit of new clients
  • Working with our analysts to transition accounts into ongoing clients


Requirements

  • Confident, assertive and experienced in sales
  • Proven success in sales to small and midsize companies
  • Professional appearance, well-spoken
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, basic CRM, Internet and social media functionality
  • Self-motivated but a strong team player
  • A solid work ethic and desire to do what's best for the client
  • Rolodex of warm prospects in a specific industry such as law, health, or real estate is a huge plus


Compensation

  • $2,000/month draw against commission
  • Healthy rates of commission, uncapped
  • End of first year, on-target earnings exceed $10k/m
