ENZO: This is Enzo F. Cesario with another edition of the Brandsplat video report. How ya doin', Ben?
BEN: I'm doing well. How're you?
ENZO: I'm doing great. Today I want to talk a little bit about a guy that asked for one million dollars on his website... and he got it... apparently.
BEN: Really.
ENZO: Yeah. Check this out. (He shows the YouTube clip “Please Give Me One Million Dollars – Success!”) That just goes to show you, you know; if you want something, ask for it. And what better way to do that than on a video.
BEN: I think Al Franken has got a case against this guy.
ENZO: Yeah. He's kind of doing an Al Franken thing right?
BEN: Yeah. From the 80s.
ENZO: By the way, you can send a million dollars to me at... I want a million dollars too...
BEN: You've got enough.
ENZO: … at Brandsplat.com. Yeah. I do have enough. Thanks, Ben. This has been all over the web. I want to talk about this a little bit. This is the girl that falls into the fountain at the mall.
BEN: Splash.
ENZO: It was on fire on the web, and then the media got a hold of it. And then it took on a life of its own. More than I think five million hits, views, if you add them all up. But then you get broadcast... you got CNN. They were on CNN with this thing.
BEN: Yeah. Anderson Cooper.
ENZO: Ah, god. What's going on? The guy got fired who submitted it to YouTube. He was the security guard. And apparently the woman is suing. Ben, you know what we should do? We should start a site called “Sue Everyone.” (Ben laughs.) Forget this Brandsplat thing and do this “Sue Everyone” site. God! Oh, people are sue happy. Uhm... I want to talk a little bit about this cool little site. This is a mommy blogger. And what she does is, while her baby is asleep, she creates these wonderful little, kind of, pictographs with her baby, and dresses up the scene and art directs it... It's obvious she's worked in some creative business before... She was in advertising, right? She was a concept designer in advertising. Check these out. Look at these. These are beautiful. (He shows screen shots of “Mila's Daydreams” video.) You know, the mommy bloggers are way ahead of everyone else. Don't you think?
BEN: I see a lot of therapy down the road for that family.
ENZO: Yeah, you're probably right. Ben, we should become mommy bloggers. Let's screw this...
BEN: I am a mommy blogger.
ENZO: Oh, that's right. Enzo F. Cesario. See you next time.
