ENZO: This is Enzo F. Cesario with another edition of the Brandsplat video report. Woo woo! What's up, Ben?

BEN: How ya doin'?

ENZO: I'm good. Let's see... URL shorteners, which ones do you use, Ben?

BEN: How do you say it? Url.ly?

ENZO: Bit.ly?

BEN: Yeah. Bit.ly we use because of Twitter.

ENZO: Now you can use Goo.gl. Google has one out. And you might be asking yourself, why would I need one from Google.

BEN: Tiny.url.

ENZO: Tiny.url. That's a good one too. I think Google's coming out with one because they're in the analytics game and they do a pretty good job. Check this out. This is an example page of what you can get analytically. This is Matt Cutts' blog, and he's showing you all the information you can look at: traffic sources, referrers, countries, browsers, platforms and more. Pretty powerful. Google wants your data. And they're gonna get it. I'm gonna give it to them. What about you, Ben?

BEN: I have no data.

ENZO: (laughs) All right. Also, this is coming at you from inside Facebook: Facebook is adding more ads... more ads.

BEN: Yes!

ENZO: Isn't that lovely? I don't even look at the ads on the side. Do you, when you're on Facebook?

BEN: I'm learning not to see them.

ENZO: Yeah. I actually put some duct tape up on my screen. But it's a revenue generator for them. And more power to them. It must be working. I just wonder, when will they stop? It's like – remember when, you know the blades, the shavers, four blades, five blades, six blades! Where do you stop? How many blades is too much?

BEN: I don't know. But I do get good shaves now.

ENZO: Hey, Ben, sometimes I see you wearing that little earpiece, bluetooth thing in your ear when you're walking.

BEN: Yeah, that's a surgical implant.

ENZO: Well now you can look like even more of a tool with this product. (They both laugh.) This is coming at us from the New York Times on Friday, Personal Tech, Gadgetwise. This is actually a little video recorder that you can stick in your ear. (Looxcie Ear Recorder) Why would you want to do that? I don't know. It kind of works with your phone. Right now it works with the Android phone. But I guess if you want to record something and you have your phone in your pocket, if you just want to be high tech, and look like a tool.

BEN: Or like Lieutenant Uhura. You know, she always had the thing in her ear in Star Trek.

ENZO: They all did. Not just her. Why are you picking on her? This is Enzo F. Cesario. See you next time.
