more Video Reports

ENZO: Hi. This is Enzo F. Cesario with another edition of the Brandsplat Video Report. Aghhhhrrrrryeaaaaaaaaaaa. How's it going Ben?

BEN: I'm fine. How are you?

ENZO: I'm great! Ben, why isn't it a good idea to build your entire site in Flash? Tell the people.

BEN: Because Mac products won't see it.

ENZO: And possibly now Microsoft. IE may not see it. In an interesting article that I found on the intertubes they're saying that Bill Gates is teaming up with Jobs to kind of shut down Flash because HTML5 can handle everything. So, it you've got a flash site in your business, you might want to consider not being in Flash. Because Flash is probably not the wave of the future. All right, what is the wave of the future? Entertainment. Who doesn't love entertainment, Ben?

BEN: I really like entertainment.

ENZO: He does.

BEN: That's why I show up here every day.

ENZO: Ha. For a cool promotion for Toy Story 3, they're doing these retro "fake commercials for "Lots-o-Huggin' Bear". There's even one in Japanese. Let's take a look at the English version. (Plays clip of Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear commercial) How cool is that? Almost a million hits on that guy. Right? Long gone are the days of the Ginsu knife sales guy who's pitching you their wares. Now you have to be creative. Stop banging people over the head! Be creative! Darn it! And you've got to be in their face, just like this story. That's a good segue. Facebook is coming up with these little window decals that they're giving businesses that say "like us on Facebook". Apparently they sent a bunch out. Mashable's reporting that one of the first businesses that got it was the Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad, California - my hood! Interesting idea. I want one on my window. I want one on my car window, now how would that work?

BEN: I want one on my forehead.

ENZO: I want one on your forehead too. This is Enzo F. Cesario. Thanks for joining. See you next time.
