ENZO: This is Enzo F. Cesario with another edition of the Brandsplat video report. Happy new year, Ben.

BEN: Happy new year. How're you?

ENZO: Good. How are you?

BEN: Good.

ENZO: Good. Do you know what edition this is?

BEN: I do not. What edition is this?

ENZO: Let's let Sammy help us on this one. (He shows a clip of Sammy Hagar shouting “55.”) That's right. Number 55.

BEN: Ouch!

ENZO: Yeah. Over the hill. This week, because it is a new year, I went back and checked to look at some stats on Twitter to see who was tweeting the most right at new year's, and lo and behold, Twitter blog had a heat map. It's pretty cool. Check this out. Check out this heat map. The winner is Japan, with the East Coast coming in a close second.

BEN: Tweet heat.

ENZO: Tweet heat. Yeah, the heat is on. Check this... I love this map. I want to get one of these. As New Year's passed over, if you do kind of a fast time-lapse, you can see all the people tweeting. The East Coast got tons and tons of tweets. “Happy New Year” in under forty five characters or less. Also, okay, let's talk about... everybody's talking about this rumor that Verizon and the iPhone are going to marry and offer up a solution on the 4G network. I don't think it's a rumor anymore. I think it's kind of a done deal. Check out this ticket. It's coming at us from Ars Technica. You know they have this kind of cryptic message invitation saying that there's some big announcement happening on the 11th. So we'll see on the 11th.

BEN: They're not saying.

ENZO: They're not saying. But everybody else is.

BEN: It's Elvis. Elvis is coming back.

ENZO: Elvis is coming back. Maybe I'll switch to the iPhone platform... again... if I can actually make a phone call. That would be awesome. (They both laugh.) And then finally wrapping up the year last year, is this great video: over 3 million hits. Check this out. (He shows YouTube clip, “Beers Filling Up Through the Bottom!”) Look at that. I want one of those things.

BEN: 3 million?!

ENZO: 3 million. That's a lot of beer. That's a lot of beer pours. Except there's this little red funky thing at the bottom of the cup. Like after you're done you have to stare at this little red thing. Wait a minute, I've got an idea.

BEN: I can't believe it has that many views. What's next, paint drying.

ENZO: I've got an idea. We'll put little ads on those pucks, those little red pucks. Make a million. You want to do it?

BEN: I'm in.

ENZO: You and I. Forget this... this...

BEN: This what?
