ENZO: This is Enzo F. Cesario with another edition of the Brandsplat video report. Ben!

BEN: Yes, sir.

ENZO: Ben!

BEN: Yes, sir.

ENZO: Ben!

BEN: Yes, sir.

ENZO: How're you doing?

BEN: I'm doing well. How was vacation?

ENZO: It was awesome. Glad to be back.

BEN: It looked good.

ENZO: It felt good. I want talk a little bit today about doing demos online. Video demos are a really way to get attention. In fact, I'm going to do one. This is a very handy video demo because a lot of people are talking about this right now. For this demo you can actually use any iPhone. You know how the antenna is not working for the new iPhone, if you hold it wrong or whatever, or the bars are lower than... whatever. You probably already know this story; the whole country is talking about it. I'm gonna show you how to fix an iPhone. What you'll need is some duct tape. Duct tape and your iPhone. This is the original, I guess, the 1G, 2G... what do you call it? The old school... The OG. So what you do is, you need to make sure that you place the duct tape kind of right there in the middle. See that? And you get two pieces – and this works for any iPhone again.

BEN: It looks very technical.

ENZO: It is very technical. And then what you do is, you get one of these: This an Android phone. And you tape the Android phone right on there. And look! I've got full coverage! I can make a phone call now from my Android. See, Ben. Demos work. Demos are good.

BEN: That's a good demo.

ENZO: Also I want to talk about Starbucks hitting the 10,000,000 mark. (He applauds.)

BEN: Starbucks? Wow.

ENZO: Yeah. Starbucks hit the 10,000,000 million mark on Facebook.

BEN: Ah...

ENZO: And they did it by couponing; they do it by... Did you know that if you have a baby, and you take a picture with your baby and a Starbucks cup in your hand, they'll post it up on their site?

BEN: A baby with a cup of coffee?

ENZO: No. You have the cup of coffee.

BEN: Oh.

ENZO: Don't pour the coffee on the baby, for God's sake! Anyway, 10,000,000 fans: That's a lot. To put it in perspective, Lady Gaga has 10.6; the two other big marketing folks that are doing Facebook successfully are kind of trailing behind at 6.5 million. So that gives you an idea where that's headed. Also, I want to talk about this social media. Everyone's doing it.

BEN: Yes, sir.

ENZO: I found this... Actually Ben found this article on the Chicago Tribune about how small businesses are taking advantage of social media. Yeah. But the real story here is where the money is moving away from print for advertisers and on social media because it's a lot more cost effective – well it can be – and you can track it. And you can have a one-on-one conversation. You can't do that in a newspaper ad. So interesting that the Chicago Tribune is actually writing about this.

BEN: About their own demise.

ENZO: About their own demise. But you know what? That's their job. They're journalists. We like journalists because we're writers, and we like writers. Anyway, that's all I have today, Ben.

BEN: Welcome back.

ENZO: Thank you. See you next time.
