ENZO: This is Enzo F Cesario with another edition of the Brandsplat report. This is what? Number 27? We've done 27 of these, Ben.

BEN: That's far too many.

ENZO: That's a lot. Ben, how're you doing today?

BEN: I'm doing well. How're you?

ENZO: Good. We're doing great. You know we're doing a little promotion here with the "Smokes and Booze" thing. If you go to facebook.com/brandsplat you can join too. We're getting a really great response, so it's getting harder and harder to win… It looks like somebody's been tasting the wares.

BEN: I have no idea how that would have happened.

ENZO: Oh yeah. I've got something for you, Ben. I got you a present.

BEN: Really?

ENZO: Yeah.

BEN: I like presents.

ENZO: You do like presents. (He pulls out a bottle of Smirnoff Ice.) Here you go, Ben.

BEN: (taking the bottle) Smirnoff?

ENZO: Dude, you've been iced… Get on your knee and drink that. You've got to pop that open and drink it, brother.

BEN: All right. I'll use my teeth.

ENZO: Ben's getting on one knee and he's drinking… While he's drinking, we're going to go to the story. Obviously that's a good segue for bros icing bros (brosicingbros.com). If you haven't heard about this new phenom on the interwebs, it is all over the place. Basically, if you give your buddy a Smirnoff, they've got to drink it, and they've got to get down on one knee. And the only way to block it is if you already have a Smirnoff on your body or around you, or something like that. It's a pretty fun game. What I want to know is was it started by the ad agency for Smirnoff? I doubt it. I don't know. It's too…

BEN: Organic

ENZO: I think it's organic. If you're in a position to be this lucky, don't stop it. Let it go. Let it run. In fact, there are a couple of other sites that are riffing on that. There's dancingalonetopony.tumblr.com. Basically, that's a song by Ginuwine called Pony, and if you hear it, you've got to dance to it, and there's a whole site dedicated to that. There's also brospony.ingbros.com, which is a riff off of that. And my favorite, which is iceashton.com, which is a call to ice Ashton and take a picture of it. Isn't that how he became big? What was that show he used to do, where he used to mess with people? "Punked."

BEN: Punked. Yes.

ENZO: You can't punk the punker.

BEN: They do.

ENZO: Do they? They get him?

BEN: Yeah.

ENZO: All right. I haven't watched the show in a while. The last thing I want to talk about is this really cool -- I've said this over and over again, go to the entertainment industry if you want to learn great marketing stuff. This is a really nice piece that Toy Story 3 and Google did. Take a look at this. (You Tube: Toy Story The Discovery) So, if you're a business, it's not a bad idea to co-op with another brand. And if you noticed, Toy Story is keeping its integrity and Google is highlighting what they do best, and it's a really nice symbiotic relationship. You may not have the budget to co-op with Google -- or you may, I don't know -- but the idea is find partners and have fun. Speaking of having fun, I want to get iced. It's Friday.
